Going by the above this prestigious institution “BANGALORE INSTITUTE OF DENTAL SCIENCES” which by itself is a Temple of Education was established in the Historical Garden City of Bangalore, India in the year 1991.

The foundation of BIDS under “VIGNAN EDUCTIONAL FOUNDATION” was laid by none other than our Respected Chairman Sri. Katuri Subbarao, under whose leadership and untiring efforts this Institution has bloomed into a glorious centre for Dental education. The motto of this premier institute is “Commitment to Excellence” and we have excelled in full filling this commitment to date. The BDS course commenced in 1991 with a sanctioned intake of 40 seats which eventually has been increased to an admission strength of 60 seats per year.
